On the 18th of March 2023 the Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest held the first two workshops for students who are qualifying for becoming high school history teachers of the Project Val.UE.s.

During the afternoon, the second workshop took place. This workshop was divided into two different section. The first section, titled “Nationbuilding in the Fascist Mode”, started at 14:00, and let the students the opportunity to focus with Gábor Andreides on the constitution of the Italian national idea, as well as the exclusion of national minorities by the Fascist regime.

During the second section of the workshop, titled “Church, Women, Children” and starting at 16:00, the students focused with Balázs Juhász on the role of women and the education of children during the Fascist regime. The presenter also examined the similarities/differences of the ecclesiastical and Fascist views on the topic in question.
